The William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series brings the literary world’s best writers to Cleveland. This author series aims to introduce new and established authors and books to the Cuyahoga County community in order to inspire learning, conversation and a sense of fellowship as well as raising funds for the Library’s work.

Books & Bites aims to raise awareness of the Cuyahoga County Public Library and the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation through literary works and building community over food. Proceeds raised from this fundraising event will benefit the Foundation, which supports Library programs and services.

New Voices is a special author series that celebrates writers who reflect the breadth of human experience. Through this series, we hope to encourage broader readership and shine a light on the literary contributions of underrepresented communities. There will be four events in the series this year (2025) and every attendee will receive a copy of the featured author's new book, free of charge.

Our Reading The Green Golf Outing is an annual Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation fundraiser and friendraiser. The primary focus is to raise funds, allowing the CCPL Foundation to annually award grants to the Library. Additionally, Reading The Green provides an opportunity for those connected to the CCPL Foundation to introduce others to the Foundation and its mission in a fun, relaxed manner.

Throughout the year, the Foundation holds a variety of pop up events to benefit library services and community programming.
