About the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation
Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation exists to support the Library's mission and to raise financial resources and awareness of the Library's critical role in the community.
The mission of Cuyahoga County Public Library is to empower individuals and communities by providing opportunities for all to read, learn, create and connect.

Our Work
Each year, the CCPL Foundation designates funds from its fundraising efforts and investments back to the Library to areas where CCPL needs it most. The Foundation focuses on the programs and services in line with the Library’s strategic priorities—vital to the communities it serves:

M. Neal Rains
Chair
Neal Rains is past president, the Print Club and Cleveland Bar Foundation. He was a trustee of Gordon Square Arts District, Near West Theatre, Cleveland Play House, and other nonprofits. BA, the University of Iowa, JD, Northwestern University Law School. Neal is a retired law firm partner.
Monica K. Brown
Vice Chair
Monica Brown serves as the VP for Human Resources & Administration at the Cleveland Foundation, where she has worked since 2006. She is the chair and co-founder of the Collaboration for Nonprofit HR Professionals and very active in her community of Lakewood, Ohio, where she resides with her family.
Tracy Strobel
President
Tracy Strobel is the Executive Director of Cuyahoga County Public Library. From 2011 to 2013, Tracy served as the U.S. representative to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s International Network of Emerging Library Innovators. She is a member of the Public Library Association Board of Directors (2016-2019) and the American Library Association’s (ALA) Office for Information Technology Policy Advisory Committee (2015-2019). In February 2020, Tracy was appointed to the board of The Center for Community Solutions, a nonpartisan think tank focused on solutions to health, social and economic issues.

Bill is on the Board of Directors of the Solon Chamber of Commerce, Solon Benevolent Fund, Councilman in Solon since 2007, President of Greater Cleveland Adult Baseball (GCAB), and a member of the Solon Italian Club. John Carroll University, BS/BA, Wright State University, MBA.
