CCPL to Break Ground for New Bay Village Branch

New branch to be constructed on former site of Bayway Cabin

Parma, OH – March 9, 2021 – Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) will break ground for the construction of a new Bay Village Branch on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The new, approximately 17,000-square-foot branch will replace CCPL's existing Bay Village Branch, located at 502 Cahoon Road. The estimated cost of construction is $9.2 million.

Where: The former site of Bayway Cabin, 27400 Wolf Rd, Bay Village, OH 44140.

When: Wednesday, March 24, 2021, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Designed by HBM Architects, plans for the new Bay Village Branch include:

  • A sustainable, eco-friendly design
  • Meeting rooms and study rooms
  • Dedicated spaces for children and teens
  • Public computer stations
  • A dedicated maker space
  • Second story reading area

The existing Bay Village Branch will remain open while the new building is under construction.
