Cuyahoga County Public Library to break ground for new Bay Village Branch

Parma, OH – March 9, 2021 – Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) will break ground for the construction of a new Bay Village Branch on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The new, approximately 17,000-square-foot branch will replace CCPL's existing Bay Village Branch, located at 502 Cahoon Road. The estimated cost of construction is $9.2 million.

When: Wednesday, March 24, 2021, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Designed by HBM Architects, plans for the new Bay Village Branch include:
- A sustainable, eco-friendly design
- Meeting rooms and study rooms
- Dedicated spaces for children and teens
- Public computer stations
- A dedicated maker space
- Second story reading area
The existing Bay Village Branch will remain open while the new building is under construction.
