Friends of the Library Book Sale

So many great items this month that we are going to have $5.00 bags.  Drop in for a one-time chance of getting some great reads at a fraction of the usual costs.  Saturday, 21 November, 2009, 9:30 - 4:00.

Tour of the Mansion

Interested in the history of the South-Euclid Branch library?  Learn about the building's history and its original owner, William Telling.  Tours will begin again after the new year so call ahead and your name and phone number will be taken for the next tour.

Money and Investing 

Join us for Money and Investing FUN-damentals, a fun interactive program that teaches youth the principles of money and investing. Program sessions include information, games and activities. For students in 7-12th grade.  November 18th, 6:30pm and December 07, 4:30 - 5:30.

Junior Robotics:  The Olympic Games Robo Shotput South Euclid - Lyndhurst Branch

We'll build a robot that flings a ball as far as possible over a goal.  Space is limited.  Registration requested.  Ages 10-14.

Ringing in the Season

Enjoy sacred and secular holiday music performed by a three-octave bell choir. Learn the history of handbells, sing along and even try out the handbells. A must for setting your holiday season. The choir is affiliated with the South Euclid-Hillcrest United Methodist Church. Register online or by calling 216 382 4880.  Monday, December 14, 2009 7-8 PM.  Registration on-line.

The Library is going "green"!

Reusable library bags, which can be purchased for $1 at our Circulation Desks, have arrived!  We will no longer be offering plastic bags after our supply is depleted, so please bring your own from home or purchase one of the library's bags.

About the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch offers a wide variety of services in a nontraditional setting. The 26 room former home of William Telling is a focal point in the community. The homey atmosphere of the mansion enhances its popularity. The reading garden, with its Turtle baby fountain, is a favorite place for adults to read and for children to make a wish. The children's areas are home to a toy collection and a tropical fish aquarium.
