Young people and their families are invited to register at one of the Library's ten Homework Centers for free after-school help. The Program Coordinators, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, and Baldwin-Wallace College's America Read Homework Coaches and trained volunteers provide a positive learning environment designed to help students gain life-long learning skills.
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
A partnership between you and the Homework Center staff will help ensure a positive learning experience for your child. We encourage you to stop in often and talk to the staff about your child. While participating, we hope that you will make use of the library’s many other resources.
Homework Centers were created to provide educational activities for no longer than 1¼ hours. We can serve up to 25 students at a time, however availability of one-on-one instruction will vary with demand. While in the Homework Center, students must be engaged in learning activities and follow the posted Library Rules of Conduct.
When you visit the library be sure to sign your child up for a library card.
Thank you!
