General education diploma (gED) CLASSES

We offer FREE adult General Education Diploma (GED) classes in our branches through Aspire Greater Cleveland (formerly Parma ABLE) and partnerships with local adult education services organizations. Participants must attend a mandatory orientation session before beginning GED classes.

Polaris Career Center GED Classes

North Olmsted Branch Library - Class Days / Times: Monday & Wednesday, 6:458: 45 PM at the Library
You must attend orientation at either Polaris Career Center or Cleveland Public's Eastman Library before beginning GED classes. Orientation sessions at Polaris Career Center in Middleburg Hts. are scheduled for either 9:30 AM-noon or 6:00-8:00 PM.
Orientation sessions at Eastman Library on Lorain Ave. are scheduled for 10:15 AM-12:45 PM.

English for speakers of other languages (esol) classes

If you need to learn English, or just sharpen your language skills, you’ve come to the right place. We offer FREE beginning, intermediate and advanced-level ESOL classes through Aspire Greater Cleveland (formerly Parma ABLE) and local adult education services organizations. Adults who wish to attend our free ESOL classes must complete an orientation session.
