Introductory Fiction Writing Workshop

Thursday, January 12, 2017, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: South Euclid-Lyndhurst - Meeting Room 162

Audiences: Adults

Event Type: Writing

Fiction writers new to the workshop experience will learn how to give and receive comments on your and others' writing in a group setting. We will workshop everyone's writing, whether from a previously written work or in-class writing prompts.

Workshop attendees are expected to have an email account and to complete reading and writing assignments between monthly meetings. It's important to the workshop process that we create a community of writers who know and trust each other, so please commit to attending at least five out of the six classes. Space is limited and registration is required.

Instructor Sarah Willis was a 2014 Creative Workforce Fellow and has published four novels. Her first, SOME THINGS THAT STAY, was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, won a Cleveland Arts Prize and was made into a movie.
