All American Boys is the story of two teens — one black and one white — who grapple with the repercussions of a single violent act that leaves their school, community and country bitterly divided by racial tension. This timely and powerful novel was the recipient of the Walter Dean Myers Award for Outstanding Children’s Literature.

All American Boys has been chosen for Milkovich Middle School's One School One Book program. Reynolds and Kiely will visit Milkovich Middle School earlier in the day to discuss the book with students
