CNN's Van Jones will go "Beyond the Messy Truth" at Cuyahoga County Public Library 
Jones will discuss his latest book at Library fundraiser on October 20th  

Van Jones, CNN political contributor and host of The Messy Truth with Van Jones, will visit Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Parma-Snow Branch on Friday, October 20th at 7:00 PM to discuss his new book, Beyond the Messy Truth: How We Came Apart, How We Come Together. This ticketed event is being held in conjunction with the 50th anniversy of Carl Stoke's election as Mayor of Cleveland. Tickets can be purchased online. Tickets are $25 each and include a seat at the event, a pre-signed copy of Beyond the Messy Truth and a donation to the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation. Additional books will be made available for purchase courtesy of Mac's Backs – Books on Coventry.  
A graduate of the University of Tennessee and Yale Law School, Van Jones was a special adviser to the Obama White House. He is the author of two New York Times best-sellers, The Green Collar Economy and Rebuild the Dream. Jones has been honored with numerous awards and spotlighted in Rolling Stone's "12 Leaders Who Get Things Done," Fast Company's "12 Most Creative Minds on Earth" and Time's "100 Most Influential People In the World." 
Jones' latest book, due out on October 10, 2017, is Beyond the Messy Truth: How We Came Apart, How We Come Together. Publisher Penguin Random House describes the book as "a passionate manifesto that exposes hypocrisy on both sides of the political divide and points a way out of the tribalism that is tearing America apart."
